The Architectural Control Committee is required to provide written approval, modification or denial of the homeowner's request within 30 days. Typically, the committee will notify the homeowner within 7-10 days of a decision.
Greenview Ridge covenants (Article V) provide that "The Architectural Control Committee shall regulate the external design, appearance, use, location and maintenance of the properties and of improvements thereon in such a manner to preserve and enhance values, and to maintain a harmonious relationship among structures and a natural vegetation and topography.
"No improvements, alterations, repairs, change of paint colors, excavations, changes in grade, or other work which in any way alters the exterior of any property or the improvements located thereon from its natural or improved state existing on the date such property was first conveyed in fee by the Developer to an Owner shall be made or done without the prior approval of the Architectural Control Committee, except as otherwise expressly provided in this Declaration. No building, fence, wall, residence, or other structure shall be commenced, erected, maintained, improved, altered, made, or done without the prior written approval of the Architectural Control Committee."
